Our Osteopaths

Our Osteopaths

Hollie, Helen, Lucy and Gina are our osteopaths at West Dulwich Osteopaths.  Their training involved a minimum 4-year degree course at the British School of Osteopathy encompassing a thorough academic education and over 1000 hours of clinical practice in the student clinic.  They are all registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Hollie Carter

Hollie is the practice principal at West Dulwich Osteopaths.  She is on maternity leave from April – August 2018 but is still involved with the practice during that time so don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Hollie qualified from the British School of Osteopathy with distinction in 2011, having been awarded the prize for Clinical Excellence in her final exams.  She has worked in a variety of practices since graduating and took the reins at West Dulwich Osteopaths in 2016.  She is also a tutor at the British School of Osteopathy clinic one day per week.

Before training as an osteopath Hollie did a degree in Physiological Sciences at the University of Oxford.  She has always been fascinated by the complex workings of the body and loves helping people understand their problem and get back to their best after a period of pain or injury.

Lucy Anderson

Lucy Anderson MOst

Lucy graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2016 with Distinction.

A former professional dancer, Lucy trained at the Rambert school of ballet and contemporary dance.  During her 6 years performing as a freelance artist she completed her Pilates instructor qualification with Body Control Pilates and has been teaching for 10 years. Through this background Lucy has developed a keen interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation, a good eye for movement and alignment and genuine fascination in the human body. She is passionate about an active lifestyle and believes that movement is central to good health and pain management.

Lucy has a structural, holistic approach to osteopathic treatment, integrating her exercise experience to aid the recovery process. She is an avid listener and endeavours to provide explanations and management plans that are clear and sustainable.
